A recent surgical team visit from Gainesville and Jacksonville provided opportunities for education sessions with our clinical staff.  Dr. Joel Andres, Pediatric Gastroenterologist, gave a session on the mechanisms and use of probiotics to treat diarrhea.  Dr. Anthony Godboldt, anesthesiologist, provided education on acute pain management.  In addition to providing surgical care for our patients, the visiting teams help our staff stay up to date and informed.
