An inauguration ceremony for the Food for Work road project was held recently. Over 1000 people in our community helped to repair existing roads and to build a couple of new ones. It was hard labour as all the work was done by hand. For months when you drove in the region you would pass the teams as they dug sand and carried rocks. The project was sponsored by USAID and administered by CRS (Catholic Relief Services). A huge thank you to all those who made the project possible. The improvement in the roads has improved the lives of people in our region.
