Queen of Peace Parish brings gifts for the elderly

By Ellen on March 08 2009, 8:12pm

A recent surgical team from Gainesville and Jacksonville FL brought some members of Queen of Peace parish to visit the elderly home they sponsor here in Fond des Blancs.  A prior post describes our wonderful little home, also known as Lakay Granmoun.

Gifts of clothing and toiletries were brought for each of our 10 residents.  Janine Plavac and Ronnie Eisele took a break from the OR to visit and hand out the gifts.  The women went to try their dresses on and came out and modeled them for us.  The radio was turned on and we danced and a had few good laughs.  The men tried on their new shirts too.  You can see the photos here

We would like to thank Queen of Peace parish and their Visions youth group for their faithful and generous support of this St. Boniface project.
