The St. Boniface Haiti Foundation fosters future leadership in Fond des Blancs by identifying talented students and sending them to university and medical schools for further education and training. There are so many bright children with so much potential. They only need to be given a chance.
Xavier House: While attending school in Port-au-Prince, male students stay at Xavier House, a residence operated by the St. Boniface Haiti Foundation. Students live together as a community while attending various university and professional level schools.
The boys at Xavier House are some of the best and brightest from Fond des Blancs. They were chosen to attend school in Port-au-Prince because of their passionate desire for education, their strong personal values, and their potential as future leaders and hard-working professionals. In each case, the family was too poor and could not afford to send their child to school in the city.
We send students to school to study areas which will be beneficial to the St. Boniface Hospital and to the community. We currently have 13 students enrolled in schools studying medicine, dentistry, business, agronomy, computer science, lab technician, and automotive studies. We need to be able to send more students to University, to benefit the students and to help the St. Boniface Hospital. Please contact us if you are interested in sponsoring a University student.
